Hotel Plinio (restaurant, pool, recreation room). Hotel Plinio is one of Manuel Antonio’s most popular hotels with mid-range travelers. It’s American owned and operated, with a 3.6-hectare/nine-acre private reserve above it and an observation tower on the mountaintop. The hotel itself is built up the steep hillside, so if you can’t climb stairs, this one is not for you. Once you’re up, it’s like staying in a tree house in the forest canopy – only this tree house has suites. The Italian international restaurant is a wellknown spot for dinner.
